I think it depends on how many watts a sq foot of solar panel can collect… There are a few different factors involved. (Ex. Your location, the size of your house, the watts of the panel, etc.) There is one system offered, by i believe, shell solar that costs about $15,000 dollars upfront (in Southern CA).
